The Defending Champs play the Nationals in DC at 7:05. As I've said before, the Tigers were poised to have a great season in 2020 if not for Covid! They were 14-3 with Strider and Weatherly, who was leading the nation in K's per 9 innings. It's amazing how quickly Strider has climbed to the majors and is doing so well, especially missing the 2019 season due to shoulder surgery and missing most of 2020 due to Covid! He has allowed just one HR in 38 innings, and opponents are batting just .176 against him. |
