What a shocker! Lol The Tigers are the second-highest vote getter in today's AP Poll but should easily have made the top 25. They are alone in 1st place in the ACC at 5-0 and the only team undefeated in ACC play after impressive back-to-back quad one road wins at VA Tech and Pitt, which was the only other undefeated ACC team and had won 10 of its last 11, including wins over No.11 UVA and UNC! Also, the Tigers beat NC State by 14 the game before State blew out No.16 Duke by 24 points, and yet Duke is somehow still ranked, and Clemson is not! The Tigers are 13-3 overall, winning 9 of their last 10, all 3 losses are on the road, and 2 of them were on the final possession. The Tigers could easily be 15-1! Oh well, the Tigers should win their next two games at home against Louisville and Duke, and then the idiotic AP voters will have no choice but to rank the Tigers! Pretty ridiculous, though, that they will have to go 7-0 in the ACC, something they have never done in the 70-year history of the ACC, in order to break into the rankings. They are already 5-0 for the first time since 1996-97 when Rick Barnes took them to the Sweet 16 and nearly the Elite 8! |
