The Tigers suffered their first loss of the season 4-2 in game one, which was postponed overnight with the game tied 2-2 in the top of the 9th.

Austin Gordon will make his 2nd career start on the mound at about 2:30, and I'll have live updates right here!

Tigers trail 2-1 in the 5th. Gordon gave up a solo HR in the 2nd and a leadoff HR to Plumlee, the UCF quarterback, in the 3rd. The Tigers finally got on the board in the 4th with a leadoff double by Blackwell, a Hall single and a sac RBI by Bertram.

Good grief Darden makes a throwing error on a bunt, hits the next batter, then gives up a single to Plumlee to put Knights back on top 7-6. Reid in from the pen with no outs.

Once again, Reid does a poor job out of the pen. He gives up a single for a run, a walk on 4 pitches and a walk on full count before Bakich replaces him with Tallent. Tigers trail 8-6, still no outs and bases loaded!

Tallent gives up a sac fly to make it 10-6 and then gets a K to finally end the inning. 2 walks and 2 hit batters in the inning! Inexcusable late innings of a tie game. Hope we don't see Reid or Tallent again for a while. Give some other guys a chance!
