The Tigers are 4-4 after starting the season 4-0, and the Gamecocks are undefeated. Regular Friday starter Ryan Ammons has an injured arm, so Saturday starter Austin Gordon will get the start tonight.

First pitch is at 6:00, and I'll have live coverage from DKS right here!

Ugh game has been postponed until 7:30. And the way the weather is looking, they might not get this in. I definitely don't want to sit through a couple delays and work until after midnight tonight! Especially with a baseball game in Greenville to cover early tomorrow afternoon and the basketball here late tomorrow night!

We’re still scheduled for 7:30 as of now. I’m here in the press box, and it was monsooning here for about 30 minutes, but it’s almost stopped now.

Ugh Cannarella thrown out stealing 2nd. Got a good jump and he should have been safe on the high throw, but it was a bad slide. I think that was their first attempt tonight with the slow, wet track in the infield.

Gamecocks hit a 2-out single and bring the tying run to the plate, but Tigers get a lucky bounce on a grounder up the 1st base line for the final out!

TIGERS WIN 5-2!!!!

The hand the Gamecocks their first loss of the season. Bakich told us after the game that they received good news on Ryan Ammons. He will only be out a couple of weeks with his injured arm. Tomorrow's starter will be a game time decision.
