Dabo told us that several players will miss the spring, including Beaux Collins, Adam Randall, Xavier Thomas, Walker Parks and Marcus Tate. None of them had serious injuries, and a lot of seems precautionary more than anything. Especially with XT, who's been plagued with injuries the last couple seasons. The biggest disappointment I think is Randall, who also missed last spring with a torn ACL. His other knee is the reason he's out this spring, although it's not nearly as serious. Troy Stellato, who tore his ACL last August right before the season and has missed season after season with injuries, should be back at some point this spring. Will Taylor will split his time between football and baseball. Sadly, Jeremiah Trotter's mom lost her battle with breast cancer, and he will go to her funeral on Saturday. Just wrapped up with Cade, Mascoll and Blake Miller. Cade said he weights a solid 198 right now and hopes to be about 10 pounds heavier by September. At the end of the interview, I asked him to rate SC BBQ versus TX BBQ. Lol he said it's Texas hands down. I also asked him about Cole Turner, and he said Cole made 4 great catches today. I'll have those interviews posted shortly! |
