The Tigers are coming off a thrilling win over Winthrop on a walk-off HR by freshman Cam Cannarella, who is having an All-American season. They open ACC road play in Atlanta against Georgia Tech at 6:00. The Tigers should have swept Duke last weekend but let two of the games slip away with mistakes.

Ugh Cannarella is not in the lineup for the first time this season! Maybe the freshman caught a cold from the water bath he was given after hitting the walk-off HR the other night! That is a big loss for the Tigers. The freshman has been their best hitter all season at .418.

Double wins the game. Tigers let another one slip away. They had a 3-2 lead with 2 outs and nobody on in the 9th. They could easily be 4-0 in ACC play but are instead 1-3! They also would have won tonight if Cannarella hadn't missed his first game. Not sure what his status is. Gonna be a frustrating season!
