There isn't a hotter team in baseball right now than your Clemson Tigers. It was almost 2 months ago in Atlanta while I was covering the softball game, the baseball team was getting blowed out by GT. At the time we joked that the score could be reversed and Clemson could be up big and you couldn't feel safe that the bullpen could keep things together and close out the game. Fast forward to now, and its one of those things where everything is going the Tigers way. The Tigers have worked themselves into hosting a Regional with the potential to be one of the top 8 seeds and hosting a Super Regional. You have heard Trevor refer to this season being eerily similar to Monte Lee's first season. He would be correct. This series isn't going to be a cakewalk. North Carolina can score some runs. I do think the Tigers pitching is better than the Tarheels and being at home helps as well. The Tigers are going to host a regional. Sweep North Carolina and they will no doubt be a top 8 seed and will be at home as long as they win! Sit back and watch the hottest baseball team in the country hopefully continues its winning ways!
