The hottest team in America has won 10 straight games and 15 of 16! Tigers have averaged 12 runs over their last 6 games and have batted an astounding .465 with 2 outs over the last 5! They will try to clinch their 7th straight ACC series tonight with Gordon on the mound. Amick is 17 for last 27 w/ 3 HR's (5 last 9 games), 5 doubles & 17 RBI's. Taylor is 20 for last 33 w/ 2 HR's, 3 doubles & 8 RBI's.

The Heels might have gained back a little momentum last night, scoring 4 runs in the 9th. Would have been nice if the Tigers could have sent them back to the hotel with a 14-3 loss. First pitch is at 6:00, and I'll have live updates right here!

Ugh they barely beat Ingle to the bag on a swinging bunt. 2-out hits not there for the Tigers tonight like they have been. We'll see if Bakich sticks with Garris or brings in Ammons to close. He will be eager to redeem himself from the debacle at VA Tech in the 9th last week!

UNBELIEVABLE!!! A 4th straight shallow pop up and Cannarella can't find the ball in the air! I've never seen anything like this it's like the entire defense has gone blind! Runner scores all the way from 1st to tie the game, and the go-ahead run is on 2nd. Poor Ammons has done his job!
