The Tigers blew out the Heels on Thursday and won a tight one last night, their 3rd straight one-run win, to clinch their 7th straight ACC series and the 2nd best record in ACC! They have won 16 of their last 17 and look to win their 12th straight game to wrap up the regular season with a 3rd straight ACC sweep. Grice will be on the mound as the usual Sunday starter. He has been outstanding his last few times out. Setting a couple career strike out records. First pitch is at 1:00 on ACCN, and I'll have live coverage right here! |

Hughes gets a fly, a K swinging on 3 pitches and another fly to end the game! TIGERS SWEEP 3-1!!! Grice pitched 7.1 innings, longest of his career, allowing just 4 hits and one run with 9 K's! He also hit a 2-out HR, team-leading 14th of season, for Tigers' first 2 runs. Tigers have swept last 3 ACC series and 4 of last 5.
