Ugh Bissetta strikes out swinging to strand em on 2nd and 3rd. Like I said, I didn't like pinching for Nawrocki right there. 3 straight K's after the Tigers had 2 on with no outs! They stranded bases loaded in the 6th and now 2nd and 3rd in consecutive innings. Tigers are staring at their first shutout loss of the season. And wasted a gem by Darden on the mound. Ugh Taylor strikes out looking to end the game. TIGERS LOSE 4-0. Tremendous outing by Darden wasted! First complete game by a Clemson pitcher this season, and it's their first shutout loss. No starter had gone more than 7 innings before tonight. Wright was the only hitter with a great game, going 3-4. Cannarella and Taylor combined were 0-9 with 3 K's. Cannarella's average has dropped to .316! Tigers have lost 3 in a row and lose their first series of the season. They'll try to avoid the sweep tomorrow at 1:00. |
