OFFICIAL SUNDAY REGIONAL THREAD: NO.6 CLEMSON vs. Coastal Carolina

CUTrevor 2024-06-02 14:55:22

The Tigers will get a rematch of last night's thriller against Coastal Carolina, as the Chanticleers eliminated High Point 6-5 moments ago. 4 of the 5 games in this regional have been decided by one run. Ethan Darden will get the start on the mound, as expected.

First pitch will be at 6:00, and Chris and I will have live coverage from DKS right here!

The crowd has a little bit of sportsmanship going on in the stands and the game hasn't started yet. If that is any indication, this should be a fun night!

If this ends up being Gary Gilmores last game, he is going to get his moneys worth. He just gave the umpire an ear full and then some. Sometimes you wonder on any level how much the umpire will take before you get ejected and in no way am I suggesting that. With that being said, when a umpire sits there and listens to you, there is so much they will listen to before you get a warning or get the ejection, that is unless the umpire made a mistake and knows it. Gilmore def had some colorful words for the umpire, and he was hot!
