6'5, 205-pound junior Tristan Smith from Southeast Missouri State has committed to transfer to Clemson. Not to be confused with the Tigers' pitcher by the same name, who was drafted by the Reds last July! He is a native of LaGrange, GA. At SEMO this season, he had 76 catches for 934 yards and 6 touchdowns. He had his best game last week in the FCS playoff with 10 catches for 139 yards and a score. Everyone is going to make a huge deal out of this because up until now, Dabo has only taken two backup quarterbacks from the portal: Hunter Johnson and Paul Tyson from Alabama. However, the only reason Dabo went to the portal was because freshman WR Noble Johnson entered the portal last week. |
