I said earlier in my post if Aiden Knaak was on his stuff tonight don't be surprised he he pitches a complete game and so far so good.

Aiden Knaak strikes out Nawrocki and as he walks off the mound he stares down Nawrocki and shimmies towards the Clemson dugout, showing some swagger

Bakich going to small ball earlier having Cannarella bunt with 2 outs. What does Bakich have in mind with that call.

Priest drives in 2 and look at Cannarella encouraging the crowd to get louder than it already is. Bakich made the call on the bunt which is something the Gamecocks sure didnt expect and it paid off with the Priest double!

I mentioned in my article earlier that Knaak looked like he was already in mid-season form and was the Freshman National Pitcher of the year last year. He continues to pitch like this and he will be in the running for National Pitcher of the Year!

Dabo is in the dugout tonight. That's a first!

Cuifo was the gero in the game last year in Columbia and I thought maybe we would see a bunt and run from Bakich but Cuifo drew a walk

Listi continues to swing a hot bat and that brings the pitching coach out for the Gamecocks. I will say the umpires behind the plate has been consistent but there has been some locations that could have went either way but he is calling it both ways

How close did that foul ball come to kicking up some white chalk! WOW!

This umpire has missed some calls behind the plate this inning for sure. As long as he stays consistent you cant really say anything but that ball 4 was clearly a strike 3

Fun Fact, Talmadge  Lecroy is the nephew of former Clemson Tiger Matthew Lecroy

I didn't know this but here is a fun nugget on Jarren Purify, he played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport Pennsylvania

The ball 4 that should have been strike 3 came back to bite the Tigers and before his 2 at bats so far tonight, Lecroy was batting 0.56. Tonight he is 2-2 with 2 RBI'S

Here is a great look for you youngsters who are looking to improve your batirng at the plate, with 2 strikes, choke up on the bat and shorten your swing. Listing is a perfect example of what to do when you have 2 strikes on you at the plate

Bakich in his interview and gets off the hot seat and Dabo is now on the headset lol and with the missed called strike, Dabo asked Bakich if he could yell at the ump lol! With the strikeout and 2nd out in the inning, Dabo says we got 2 in the wagon and one in the dragon lol

Something else for you youngsters looking to play at the next level, notice how MCCladdie and Listi when they walk they hustle to first base. Most guys jog but those two guys hustle. As a parent of a kid who played college baseball, I cant tell you how many times a college head coach regardless of there level, will take a guy who will hustle over raw talent any day of the week.

The Clemson batters look unsure right now. I am not sure if they think a ball is going to be called a strike and a strike is going to be called a ball so they are swinging at pitches that are borderline because they seem to be so unsure of what the call is going to be.

I have to disagree with the announcers on Lecroy turning around talking to the umpires. I have mentioned several times tonight about the borderline pitches that could go either way and right there on the pitch before the Clemson batter was hit, Lecroy looked in the dugout confused on how that pitch wasn't a strike and yes he said something to the umpire about it

Prime example just now on Listi at the plate. All night that has been a ball and after Lecroy turned around  and said something the outside off the plate all of a sudden becomes a strike. Lets see what happens here in the top of the 6th. maybe it turns out to be one call, but it is interesting that it got called a strike after Lecroy said something.

You have to wonder if Jarrell will eventually say something to the umpire behind the plate. You are starting to see those borderline calls that could go either way being called strikes for the Gamecocks and you have to credit Lecroy for that

Thats one way to counter the umpire. Jump on the first pitch you see and dont give the umpire a chance to call a strike a ball and a ball a strike. Purify with the bomb and the bat flip!

This is a bang bang play and let me tell you now, as a former umpire the call doesn't always go to the runner. However and youngsters again pay attention, out or safe the hustle is what coaches notice and Listi hustled all the way to the bag. great play by the Gamecock first baseman as well. Because of his hustle, Listi caused a review.

I am not sure what has happened here but a little gamesmanship between Cannarella and the Gamecock pitcher. 

Tigers are 3 outs away from handing the Gamecocks their first loss on the season.

I am not sure if that was reviewable but on the replay I didn't see anything that qualified for catchers interference.

Whew  you can  breathe a sigh of relief. I am not sure if the wind is still blowing in or not but that was to close to call.

If someone were to sneeze the wrong way, that ball gets out of here and we have a tied ball game lol
