Starting Lineups for tonights contest

The story lines tonight are fascinating.

The coaches are meeting at home plate and first pitch is slated for 6:03pm

Leading off the top of the first for the Tigers, Cam Cannarella

Cam with a grounder to the short stop and that is the first out in the game and that brings Josh Paino to the plate

Paino first pitch swings and hits it deep off the wall in left center field for a stand-up double. That will bring Collin Priest to the plate

Priest deep fly to center field for the 2nd out and that will move Paino up to third and Luke Gaffney is now at the plate for the Tigers

Gaffney with the grounder to the short stop and that will end the top of the first for the Tigers. They fail once again with runners in scoring position to drive in a run.

Leading off the bottom of the first for the Seminoles, Gage Harrelson

Haralson goes down on strikes for the first out in the bottom of the inning. That will bring Alex Lodise to the plate.

Lodise with the fly ball to left field and Dominic Listi hauls it in for the 2nd out in the inning and that will bring Max Williams to the plate

WIlliams with the popup to Luke Gaffney at first and its a 1,2,3 inning for Knaak.

Leading off the top of the 2nd for the Tigers, Dominic Listi

Listi draws a leadoff walk and that will bring Jacob Jarrell to the plate.

Listi steals 2nd and once again there is a runner in scoring position for the Tigers.

Jarrell goes down on strikes and that brings Jack Crighton to the plate

Crighton goes down on strikes for the 2nd out in the inning and that brings Andrew Cuifo to the plate.

Cuifo initially got called out on a strike 3 swing but Bakich is asking for a review that the ball was fouled off the end of the handle on the bat. It is under review.

Leading off the bottom of the 2nd for FSU, Myles Bailey 

Bailey goes down on strikes and that will bring Cal Fisher to the plate

Fisher with the grounder to Cuifo who throws across to first for the 2nd out in the inn ing and that brings Drew Faurot to the plate

Faurot with the grounder to the shortstop and a error by Cuifo allows the ball to get into center field and that will bring Chase Williams to the plate.

Williams with a double down the left field line and just like that FSU has runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. A error has put the Tigers in this situation. That brings Jaxson West to the plate

West flies out to Listi and the Tigers dodge a bullet there.

Leading off the top of the 3rd for the Tigers, Jay Dilliard

Dilliard hits a fly ball to center field for the first out of the inning and that brings Cannarella to the plate

Cannarella with the line drive to left field and a great catch on the run by the FSU left fielder and that will bring Paino to the plate

Paino goes down on strikes and its a 1,2,3 inning in the top of the 3rd for the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 3rd for FSU, Hunter Carns

Carns with the high popup to and Cuifo the shortstop calls everyone off and collects it for the first out in the inning. That will bring Harrelson to the plate

Harrelson goes down on strikes and that will bring Lodise to the plate

Lodise draws a walk and that brings Williams to the plate

Williams line drive right to Cam Cannarella in center and Aiden Knaak has been sensational so far tonight

Leading off the top of the 4th for the Tigers, Priest

Priest with the grounder to the first base side for the out and Gaffney now stands at the plate

Gaffney with the line drive fly ball to right field for the 2nd out and that will bring Listi to the plate

Listi is hit by the pitch and that brings Jarrell to the plate

Jarrell goes down on strikes and that will end the top of the 4th for the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 4th for the Seminoles, Bailey

Bailey with the grounder to first and a great play by Gaffney but a bad throw to Knaak allows the runner to be safe. At the plate for FSU, Fisher

Fisher with the drive into right center field and the Seminoles have runners on first and third with no outs and that brings Faurot to the plate

This will cause the pitching coach to come out and have a conversation with Knaak and the FSU band is in attendance and is playing the FSU War Chant.

Faurot with the fly ball to center field and that will score a RBI for the  Seminoles . That brings Williams to the plate

Williams with the grounder to Cuifo who had to make a great running play to get the out at first. At the plate for FSU, West

West with the popup to Cuifo who makes the catch in shallow left field and that will end the inning for FSU. It could have been a  lot worse but Knaak miminizes the damage.

Leading off the top of the 5th for the Tigers, Crighton

Crighton with the hot shot and a great play by the FSU first baseman for the first out in the top of the 5th. That brings Cuifo to the plate

Cuifo with the grounder to the third baseman who throws across for the 2nd out in the inning. That will bring Dillard to the plate

Dillard draws a two out walk and that brings Cannarella to the plate

Cannarella with the fly ball to left field and that will end the inning for the Tigers, Its been a ho-hum night so far for the Tigers. 

Leading off the bottom of the 5th for FSU, Carns

Carns with the grounder to Cuifo and a great grab by Gaffney for the first out in the inning bringing Harrelson to the plate

Harrelson draws a walk and that brings Lodise to the plate

Lodise grounds to Dillard who turns the 5-4-3 equals 2 if you know you know double play and just like that its a quick bottom of the 5th for the Seminoles.

Leading off the top of the 6th for the Tigers, Paino

Paino is hit by the pitch and that will bring Priest to the plate

Paino got caught stealing and another opportunity wasted by the Tigers, I am not sure I agree with that call.

Priest draws a walk and what should be runners on first and second, it's just a runner on first and that brings Gaffney to the plate. The FSU pitching staff is out to talk to Arnold. 

Gaffney with the drive into right field and the Tigers have runners on first and second with Listi at the plate

Listi is hit by the pitch and this will loads the bases and obviously the FSU coaching staff is going to question it because of the delay by Listi and replay shows he was hit on the elbow shield so this call should stand

After review the call stands and at the plate with the bases loaded, Jarrell

This is where Bakich loves to call certain things in situations like this and the opposing team/ fans don't like it but it is a good thing in my opinion.

Jarrell with the fly ball to center field and a great throw by the center fielder to get the runner tagging going to third and now in question is whether the runner scored from third to tie this game up before the tag was made. It looks like the play at third was made before the runner touched home and that is on the runner. Another base running blunder has cost the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 6th for the Seminoles, Williams

Williams after a foul ball that clearly would have been a Homerun if it had stayed straight grounds out to the 2nd baseman and that will bring Bailey to the plate

Bailey goes down on a great breaking ball pitch by Knaak and that brings Fisher to the plate

Fisher just sent the ball into the parking lot on the first pitch he saw and just like that it a 2-0 Seminole lead. At the plate for FSU, Faurot

Faurot draws a walk and that brings Williams to the plate

Bakich is making his way out to the mound and this will end the night for Knaak. That Tigers will bring in Jacob McGovern

Williams got the runner taking off to second and caught stealing and the Tigers get out of the inning. However, FSU puts another run on the board.

Leading off the top of the 7th for the Tigers, Crighton

Crighton with a base hit into right field to lead off the top of the 7th. That will bring Cuifo to the plate

The Florida State coach is making his way out to the mound and if this is it for Arnold, he will leave with a round of applause from this FSU faithful. It will end the night as Joe Charles will come in to relieve Arnold.

Cuifo draws a walk and there are runners on first and second with no outs and this is where the Tigers made a living last year in the come backs against FSU, getting to their bullpen. At the plate for the Tigers, Dillard

Dillard with the sacrifice bunt and that brings Cannarella to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out.

Cannarella with the 2 RBI single and just like that, this game is tied. Cannarella does his job and that brings Paino to the plate and this crowd went from silent real quick.

Paino hit a shoit off the top of the wall and Cannarella scores all the way from first and the Tigers have taken the lead. At the plate, Priest.

Florida State head coach is walking back out to the mound and this may end the night just as quickly as it started for Charles, and it has. The Seminoles will now bring in John Abraham

Paino may have got picked off at 2nd and it is under review. He thinks he got back barely though. It will be close.  After review, the call stands and for the 2nd time tonight, Paino has made a mistake on the bases.

Priest with a stand up double and the base blunder by Paino cost the Tigers a run there. At the plate, Gaffney

Gaffney with the Deep fly ball to center field for the third out, but the Tigers score 3 and if Paino doesn't make another mistake on the bases it would be a 4-2 lead.

Leading off the bottom of the 7th for the Seminoles, Williams

Williams with the base hit into right field and the leads off batter is on and that brings West

West bunts it back to the pitcher who bobbled the ball but got the out. The tying run is at 2nd and that brings Carns to the plate

After a meeting with the infield, Coach Bakich makes his way out to the mound and this will end the night McGovern and bring Reed Garris in to pitch for the Tigers

Williams steals third and Bakich has to be careful,. He has only one challenge left. 

Carns goes down on strikes as Garris just throws one by him and that brings Harrelson to the plate

Harrelson goes down on a strike three throw down to get out of the inning. Williams is stranded at 3rd and the Tigers manage to hang on to the lead

Leading off the top of the 8th for the Tigers, Listi

Listi with the stand up lead off double and that brings Jarrell to the plate

Jarrell with the fly ball to left field for the first out in the inning and that brings Crighton to the plate

Crighton with the RBI single into center field and the Tigers get a insurance run. At the plate for the Tigers, Cuifo

Cuifo hits a grounder to the third baseman for the fielders choice and that brings Dillard to the plate

Dillard pops it up to the center fielder for the final out in the top of the 8th but the Tigers score a run. 

Leading off the bottom of the 8th for the Seminoles, Lodise and they FSU batters will be facing Lucas Mahlstedt

Lodise cant touch this as Mahlstedt sits him down on strikes. That brings Williams to the plate

Williams with the drive into left center field and that brings Bailey to the plate

Bailey goes down on strikes and that brings Fisher to the plate

Fisher pops it up and Cuifo hauls it in for the 3rd out and we move to the top of the 9th

Leading off the top of the 9th for the Tigers, Cannarella

Cannarella with the grounder to first and that will bring Paino to the plate

Paino goes down on strikes and that brings Priest to the plate

Priest with the fly ball to right field and it is a 1,2,3, inning for the Tigers. The Tigers are 3 outs away from taking game 1 of this 3 game set.

Leading off the bottom of the 9th for the Seminoles, Faurot

Faurot with the grounder to Dillard who makes the play for the first out in the inning. That will bring Williams to the plate

Williams with the stand up double off the fence in right center field and that will bring West to the plate.

Westwith the grounder to Dillard for the 2nd out in the inning and pinch hitting for FSU, James Hankerson Jr

Hankerson Jr with a stand up double into the left field corner and Fsu pulls within a run. The tying run is on 2nd and that brings Harrelson to the plate and Belinger will come out and have a conversation with Mahlstedt

Harrelson with the shot off the 3rd baseman Paino into left field and this game is tied. Paino has had a rough night.

Lodise at the plate

Lodise grounds out to the 2nd baseman for the final out, but how about free baseball. FSU scores 2 and we move to the 10th.

Leading off the top of the 10th for the Tigers, Gaffney

Gaffney with the grounder to the shortstop for the first out in the inning and that brings Listi to the plate

Listi deposits that ball into the right  field parking lot and the Tigers regain the lead. At the plate, Jarrell

Jarrell with the drive into center field and that brings Crighton to the plate

Crighton draws a walk and the Tigers have runners on first and second. That will bring Cuifo to the plate

That will end the night Abraham and the Noles will bring on Chris Knier

Cuifo with the fly ball off the end of the bat for the 2nd out in the inning and that brings Dillard who has been spectacular tonight to the plate

Dillard goes down on strikes but the Tigers managed to regain the lead.

Leading off the bottom of the 10th for the Seminoles, Williams

Williams just tied this game up with a bomb of his own in the right field parking lot. At the plate for FSU, Bailey

That will end the night for Mahlstedt. Three outs away from having the single season save record. BJ Bailey is now on to pitch for the Tigers.

Bailey goes down on strikes and that brings Fisher to the plate

Fisher with the flare single into center field and that will bring Faurot to the plate

Faurot with the deep fly ball to center field and Cam Cannarella hauls it in and that will bring Williams to the plate

Willians with the flare into right field and the winning run is 90 feet away with 2 outs. At the plate for FSU, West

Bakich comes out to have a talk with Bailey and the Tiger infield. 

West with the grounder in almost no mans land but Cuifo with the hustle makes the play and the Tigers managed to live another inning.

Peyton Prescott is in to pitch for FSU in the top of the 11th. At the plate for the Tigers, Cannarella

Cannarella draws a walk and lets out a scream at the Tiger dugout and that brings Paino to the plate. Bakich calls the team over for a discussion to the demise of the FSU faithful.

Paino goes down on strikes. What a good looking pitch. That brings Priest to the plate

Priest with the grounder and force out at 2nd and that brings Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney draws a walk and runners are at first and second and that brings Listi to the plate

Listi goes down on strikes and that will end the top of the 11th for the Tigers.

Cmeyla with the base hit into left field and that will bring Harrelson to the plate

Harrelson with the sacrifice bunt that moves Cmeyla into scoring position and that brings Max Williams to the plate

Williams with the walk off single and was called safe at the plate but this call will be challenged because he looked like he was out. Replay clearly shows he is out. This call should be overturned, but we will see
