Good afternoon and yes I am back for game 2 and my son Tanner Hamby is with me this weekend as well. The Tigers are on the field right now going through their pregame routine and once again Jarren Purify will not be in the line-up tonight. I will be posting starting Lineups shortly for game 2. 

Here is the starting lineup for game 2

This is a recap of the scoring last night

Leading off the top of the 1st for the Tigers, Cam Cannarella

Cannarella with the line drive fly ball to right field for the first out in the inning and that brings Josh Paino to the plate

Paino with the chopper to third and that brings Collin Priest to the plate

Priest draws a walk and that will bring Luke Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney goes down on strikes and that will end the top of the first for the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 1st for Florida State, Gage Harrelson

Harrelson draws a leadoff walk, not sure where that pitch missed. Alex Lodise at the plate

Lodise with the line drive into right field and a great sliding catch by Jack Crighton for the out. That will bring Max Williams to the plate

Williams with the base hit into center field and FSU has runners on first and second and that brings Myles Bailey to the plate

Belanger is coming out to have a conversation with Titsworth and the catcher Jarrell. 

Bailey goes down on strikes and that will bring Cal Fisher

Fisher with the shot up the middle and Jay Dilliard was shifted over to make the play and that will get the Tigers out of the inning.

Leading off the top of the 2nd for Clemson, Dominic Listi

Listi off the end of the bat roller to the short stop and that brings Jack Crighton to the plate

Crighton with the fly ball into shallow center field for the 2nd out in the inning. That will bring Jacob Jarrell to the plate

Jarrell with the hot shot to the first baseman who was shifted in the right position and it is a 1,2,3 top of the 2nd for the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 2nd for FSU, Drew Faurot

Faurot with the shot to Cuifo who unlike last night made those types of plays couldn't handle it and the lead off guy is on for FSU. That will bring Chase Williams to the plate

Williams hits into the sacrifice to get the lead runner at 2nd for the out and that will bring James Hankerson Jr to the plate

Williams gets caught stealing for out number 2 in the inning

Hankerson Jr goes down on strikes and because of Williams getting caught stealing, it is a 1,2,3 inning for the Tigers.

Leading off the top of the 3rd for the Tigers, Jay Dillard

Dillard first pitch swinging and the grounder to short stop gets the first out in the inning. That will bring Andrew Cuifo to the plate

Cuifo with the fly ball to center field for the 2nd out of the inning and that brings Cannarella to the plate

Cannarella with the grounder back to the pitcher and its another 1,2,3 inning for the Tigers.

Leading off the bottom of the 4th for FSU, Nathan Cmeyla

Cmeyla goes down on strikes and that will bring Harrelson to the plate

Harrelson with the line drive to left field and another great sliding catch this time by Listi and that brings Lodise to the plate

Lodise draws a walk and that will bring Williams to the plate

Williams is hit by a pitch and FSU has runners on first and second and that will bring Bailey to the plate

Belanger making his way out to the mound again to have a conversation with Titsworth who is struggling at the moment to find the strike zone

Bailey with the deep fly ball and Listi corrals it in and the Tigers dodge a bullet there.

Leading off the top of the 4th for the Tigers, Paino

Paino with the grounder to third and the turn around throw to first and that will bring Priest to the plate

Priest with the grounder to third for the 2nd out in the inning and that will bring Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney with the grounder to the short stop and another 1,2,3 inning for the Seminoles

Leading off the bottom of the 4th for the Seminoles, Fisher

Fisher with the shot to third and a great diving play by Paino to get the out at first. That will bring Faurot to the plate

Faurot with the pop up and Paino makes the catch and that will bring Williams to the plate

Williams with the base hit to right field and that will bring Hankerson Jr to the plate

Hankerson Jr with the high chopper to Gaffney who fields it for the 3rd out in the inning. Right now it is a ho hum baseball game. I am not sure if last night took a lot out of both teams but the excitement level from last night to today is as different as night and day.

Leading off the top of the 5th for the Tigers, Listi

Listi with the stand up double with a shot over the center fielder head to the wall and that will bring Crighton to the plate.

Crighton with the sacrifice bunt and that moves Listi to 3rd and this is the best opportunity for the Tigers to score first. Jarrell at the plate

Jarrell with the suicide squeeze and it worked to perf3ection. What a call by Bakich and the Tigers are on the board. At the plate for the Tigers, Dillard

Dillard goes down on strikes, but the Tigers get a run on a great suicide squeeze call.

Leading off the bottom of the 5th for the Seminoles, Cmeyla

Cmeyla leads off with a Homerun and just like that, we are tied. We saw this last night and here we go again. At the plate for the Seminoles, Harrelson

Harrelson with the base hit into center field and Cannarella misplays it and it is a stand up double. At the plate for FSU, Lodise

Lodise pops it up and Cuifo corrals it for the first out in the inning. That brings Williams to the plate

Bakich calls time and make his way out to the mound and I am not sure if this will end Titsworth night or not. It does as Bakich makes the call and coming on to pitch for the Tigers, Jacob McGovern

Williams with the RBI double and that will bring Fisher to the plate

Fisher pops it up for the 2nd out in the inning and that brings Faurot to the plate

Faurot pops it up to center field and Cannarella hauls it in for the final out in the inning. The Seminoles score 2 in the bottom of the 5.

Leading off the top of the 6th for the Tigers, Cuifo

Cuifo with a bunt single back to the pitcher who bobbled the ball and that brings Cannarella to the plate

Cannarella hits into the 6 -4 -3 equals 2 if you know you know double play. That brings Paino to the plate

Paino goes down on strikes and the Seminoles have seized momentum.

Leading off the bottom of the 6th for the Seminoles, Williams 

Williams with the grounder to the first baseman Gaffney for the first out in the inning and that brings Hankerson Jr to the plate

Hankerson Jr flies out to left field and that will bring Cmeyla to the plate

Cmeyla with the high pop up and that will end the bottom of the 6th for FSU. We are 2/3 of the way through.

Leading off the top of the 7th for the Tigers, Priest

Priest with the fly ball off the end of the bat to center field for the first out in the inning. That will bring Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney goes down on strikes and that will bring Listi to the plate

Listi draws a walk and that will bring Crighton to the plate

Listi got picked off trying to steal second and that ends the inning for the Tigers,

Leading off the bottom of the 7th for the Seminoles, Harrelson

Harrelson leads off the bottom of the 7th with a Homerun and the Noles extend their lead. At the plate for FSU, Lodise

Lodise hits a deep fly ball to center field and Cam Cannarella doing what he does best, went up and got it and the FSU crowd showed their appreciation. WHAT A CATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are You Kidding Me! That is a SPORTS CENTER TOP 10 Play. That will end the night for McGovern and Bakich  will bring in Fitzgerald to pitch for the Tigers!

At the plate for FSU, Williams

Williams with the  fly ball and Cannarella makes the catch and that brings Bailey to the plate

Bailey was hit by the pitch and that will bring Fisher to the plate

Fisher with the shifton hits it exactly where normally the second baseman would be playing. Runners on first and second and Faurot at the plate

Faurit goes down on strikes and that will end the inning,

Leading off the top of the 8th for the Tigers, Crighton

Crighton leads off with a single and that brings Jarrell to the plate

The rain has started to fall here in Tallahassee

Jarrell goes down on strikes and that will bring Dillard to the plate

Bakich has called his guys together. This cell is a big one and it will be interesting to see if they halt this game. It is a steady rain.

Dillard with the stand up double shot into left field and the tying run is on 2nd and that brings Cuifo to the plate

Cuifo gpes down on strikes and that will bring Cannarella to the plate

Cannarella with the with the 2 RBI triple that tied the game as the throw got away from the 3rd baseman, Cannarella shoots for home and stumbles but somehow managed to collect himself and avoid the tag and the Tigers have taken the lead. My oh my you cant script this. At the plate, Paino

Paino goes down on strikes but Cannarella the man of the hour so far and the Tigers score 3 in the top of the 8th

Leading off the bottom of the 8th for the Seminoles, Williams

Williams strikes out and that will bring Hankerson Jr to the plate

Hankerson Jr draws a walk and that will bring Cmeyla to the plate

The umpires are clearing the field for a weather delay. The issue here is about 6 minutes ago a lightning bolt and thunder rocked the area and play continued. However, just now another lightning bolt just lit up the area so it is warranted.

They are now putting the tarp on the field which means more than likely this game will resume in the morning. There is a large cell and for each lightning strike, the timer starts over for 30 more minutes. As much as I would like for this game to finish tonight, I just don't see it. If the bottom of the 8th would have been completed then can call the game but because FSU is the home team, they have to get their half-inning in before the game can be called!
