Not sure that is what you want to see with the leadoff batter and it looks like King for West Virginia had some words for Knaak and now the umpires are gathering for a discussion. Looks like they are reviewing whether or not the ball hit the batter

This is not the start you wanted to see out of Knaak. Usually in these situations, he starts off slow and heats up as the game goes along. We shall see what happens

That is usually the start for Knaak and the blueprint is to get it him early because once he heats up, he is nearly untouchable. It's almost like he gives you a chance and you get what you get the you get a pissed off Knaak the rest of the game

It is hard to tell if Listi was hit by that pitch. His original reaction, it doesn't appear he was hit by the pitch but the umpire seems to think otherwise and now it is under review.

After review, they have said Listi wasn't hit by the pitch and that will bring him back to the plate

The West Virginia line-up has been through its order already, lets see if the Tigers can capitalize off the last 1/2 inning here and make the West Virginia pitcher have to work and sweat just a little bit!

To my surprise, some of the crowd started to but for the most part there wasn't a response!

Through the first 3 innings, the Tigers are 0-9 at the plate while West Virginia 4 for 12 at the plate with 3 runs. 

Aiden Knaak has started to get into a rhythm and you can see it in his body language. The offense needs to come to life to match that energy. 

The bottom of the 4th inning, as a Veteran is as cool as anything you will ever see and the fact that the West Virginia baseball team put their gloves down and turned around and showed their appreciation I will admit got to me a little bit!

It took 3 1/2 innings but the crowd has finally came to life and brought some energy to this place!

Cam Cannarella stranded on second and again a runner in scoring position and the Tigers don't capitalize

I am not sure what that conversation was about between Bakich and the umpires. The West Virginia coach came out and said something and towards the end of the conversation with Bakich, he followed the umpire 3/4 of the way down the first base line and he looked like he wasn't happy about something

As it stands right now, the Tigers are lucky they only trail 3-0. We saw this same scenario last night. Can the Tigers manage to escape without any damage and turn this game around.

I actually like that call by the West Virginia coach. That at abt is what you call slash. What that means is you show bunt and force the infield in and pull the bat back at the last second hoping to punch the ball right over the infielders head for a RBI hit. The Tigers got lucky that the batter popped that ball up or we could be looking at a 4-0 lead with runners on first and third with no outs. 

Just like that, West Virginia capitalizes with runners in scoring position. The Tigers have managed only one runner in scoring position and Belanger is out to talk to the infield

This is a gut check moment for the Tigers. bases loaded for West Virginia with only one out. Need a double play right here or this game may get out of hand

Well it took a monster strike out by Knaak and one has to wonder do you bring him back since Allen has been warming up in the pen. I would think it would be predicated on what the Tigers do here offensively. 

The Tigers are 1 for 14 at the plate through 4 1/2 innings. 

There are no words to describe Cam in big time moments. There are not enough adjectives in the dictionary. The next center fielder is going to have a tough time replacing this guy. Build the Statue I say, build the statue

Reed Garris is in to pitch and it has been a while since we have seen him. 

A huge out there on the popup that Jarrell decided to give fans a collective scare on lol!

That was a huge call that went in Clemson's favor. As a former umpire the problem I have with the review is the 3rd base umpire put himself in position to make that call. If he is out of position then you go to replay. That call could have went either way and there is no way you could have over turned it either way. 

Right now in big time moments, Cam Cannarella is the Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Caitlyn Clark and Larry Bird of College Baseball

Garris will leave the game to a loud standing ovation for his first outing in over a month as he turns the ball over to Lucas Mahlstedt
