Good afternoon baseball fans, we are here at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to close out the fall baseball season as the Tigers get ready to take on Alabama. This will be different as they will play 12 innings of baseball. The Tigers are on the field warming up, first pitch slated at 1:03pm. Drew Titsworth gets the start for the Tigers today as we settle in for the start of todays exhibition. Leading off the top of the 1st for Alabama, Brandon Holt

Holt draws a leadoff walk off and that isn't what you want to see after you get ahead on the count. That brings Justin Lebron to the plate

Lebron goes down on strikes and once again Titsworth got a head in the count and the batter worked the count full before Titsworth struck him out. That brings Sam Christensen

Christensen goes down on strikes and that will bring Luke Vaughn to the plate

Vaughn on a check swing off the end of the bat and after giving up a leadoff walk and a stolen base, Titsworh manages the top of the first.

Leading off the bottom of the 1st for the Tigers, Jarren Purify

Purify pops it up to left field for the first out in the inning and that will bring Luke Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney with the bomb and that brings the crowd to life and the Tigers strike first. At the plate, Nick Savoie

Savoie with the drive into right Centerfield and once again the Tiger bats have picked up where they left off Thursday night. At the plate, Ty Dalley

Dalley skies it high and the 2nd baseman collects it for the 2nd out. At the plate for the Tigers, Jason Fultz

Fultz goes down on strikes and that will end the bottom of the 1st for the Tigers. Luke Gaffney puts the Tigers on the board with a solo shot to left field.

Leading off the top of the 2nd for Alabama Will Plattner

Plattner is hit by a pitch and that will bring Bryce Fowler to the plate and for the second consecutve inning, Alabama has the leadoff guy on

Fowler is hit by a pitch and that will bring Jason Torres to the plate

Torres goes down on strikes and that will bring Brady Neal to the plate

Neal pops it up into foul territory and Tyistan McCladdie makes the over the shoulder catch and that brings Peyton Steele to the plate

Steele goes down on a check swing third strike and after hitting the first two batters, Tiger pitching settles down and gets out of the inning.

Leading off the bottom of the 2nd for the Tigers, Jack Crighton

Crighton with the grounder to short for the first out in the inning. That brings Triston McCladdie to the plate

McCladdie draws a walk and that brings Jacob Jarrell to the plate

Jarrell with the first pitch swinging base hit into left field and that will bring Tyler Lichtenberger

Lichtenberger hits into the 4-6 equals 2 if you know, you know double play and although he Tigers threaten, they were held at bay.

Leading off the top of the 3rd for Alabama Logan Devenport

Devenport goes down on strikes and this is the first inning that Tiger pitching had got the leadoff guy out. At the plate for Alabama, Holt

Holt with the infield single as the infield was on a shift towards first base and that brings Lebron to the plate

Lebron hit by a pitch and Alabama has runners on first and second and that will bring Christenensen to the plate

Christensen pops it up into shallow left field for the 2nd out in the inning and that brings Vaughn to the plate

Vaughn draws a walk as the ball gets away and the bases are loaded as Plattner comes to the plate

Plattner goes down on strikes to the delight of the crowd and the Tigers get out of the base loaded jam.

Leading off the bottom of the 3rd for the Tigers, Davon.

Devon with the off the end of the bat base hit into Centerfield and that will bring Harrison to the plate

Harrison with the two run bomb over the Centerfield wall and believe it or not there is a pretty good crowd here today for this exhibition. That will bring Dillard to the plate

Dilliard draws a walk and that will bring Purify to the plate

Purify draws a walk and the Tigers have runners on first and second and that brings Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney hits into the 6-4-3 double play and that brings Savoie to the plate

Savoie goes down on strikes to end the inning but the Tigers get 2 more runs on the 2-run bomb by Harrison

Leading off the top of the 4th for Alabama, Fowler

Fowleris hit by a pitch and that's the 4th batter today for Alabama that has been hit by a pitch. At the plate for Bama, Torres

Torres with the deep drive to the Centerfield wall and a great catch up against the wall for the first out in the inning. That brings Neal to the plate

Neal goes down on a non swinging strike 3 and you love to see it. At the plate for Bama, Steele

Steele with the fly ball to left field and once again the Tigers manage to get out of the inning.

Leading off the bottom of the 4th f or the Tigers, Dalley

Dalley went down on strikes and his reaction was one of disbelief. At the plate for the Tigers, Fultz

Fultz with the infield single as the ball went under the pitchers glove and the throw was wild and Fultz ended up on 2nd as Crighton comes to the plate

Crighton with the fly ball to Centerfield and that will bring McCladdie to the plate

McCladdie with the groundout to second base and once again the Tigers had runners in scoring position and failed to score. We are 1/3 of the way through his game. Remember we are playing 12 innings today.

Leading off the top of the 5th for Alabama, Devenport

Devenport hit by a pitch and that is number 5 on the day of hit batter by Tiger pitching. At the plate for Alabama, Holt

Holt hits into 3 unassisted to 6 double play and that will bring Lebron to the plate

Lebron with the Depp fly ball to right field that was almost a disaster.

Leading off the bottom of the 5th for the Tigers, Jarrell

My son is going to take over the play by play for a while, I will be back shortly

Jarrell Caught Looking at a pitch on the inside corner for out number 1. At the plate now for the Tigers Lichtenberger.

Lichtenberger with a hot shot single through the middle of the infield. up to the plate now for the Tigers Bryce Clavon

Clavon Flies out to the centerfielder on the first pitch he sees. Now at the plate for the Tigers Dylan Harrison.

Harrison drops a ball into left field for a single, and advancing Lichtenberger to 3rd base. Tigers have runners on the corners with 2 outs and Jay Dillard at the plate.

Dillard walks on 5 pitches and the Tigers have the bases loaded with Jarren Purify at the plate. 

Purify turns on an inside pitch and puts it over the 3rd baseman's head into left field, Lichtenberger comes into score. Everyone else holds and the Tigers are still loaded with 2 outs. Up to the plate is Luke Gaffney. 

Gaffney flies a ball hit to the rightfielder to end the inning. Tigers leave 3 on base but bring across a run on 3 hits. We head to the top of the 6th inning. In to pitch for the Tigers will be Nathan Dvorsky. 

Leading off for Alabama Sam Christiansen. 

Christiansen gives a ball a good ride out to left field but brought in just Infront of the fence for the first out. Luke Vaughn is up for the Tide. 

Vaughn finds the solid part of the bat and hits a line drive into the right-center gap for a single. now at the plate for the Tide Will Platner. 

Past ball gets away from Savoie behind the plate allowing Vaughn to advance up to second base. Platner still at the plate for the Tide 

Platner with a slow ground ball up the middle, ball was fielded cleanly at short but the throw was low and Gaffney was not able to handle the pick cleanly allowing Platner to reach on the Error. Vaughn reached 3rd base on the play. the Tide have runners on the corners with 1 out, Bryce Fowler is at the Plate. 

Fowler hits a missle of a ground ball down the first base line that hits off of the bag and goes into short right field. the Tide bring in a run and Plattner makes it to third. Jason Torres will now bat for the Tide with runners on the corners and 1 out. 

Torres goes down swinging for the second out of the inning. up to the plate for the Tide Brady Neal.

Neal gets caught looking for strike 3 and the third out of the inning. Tigers strand 2 on base but give up 1. we have played 5 1/2 innings here at DKS going into the bottom of the 6th. Up for the Tigers will be Nate Savoie.

Savoie swings at a ball falling away from him for strike 3 and the first out of the inning. Up for the Tigers Ty Dalley. 

Dalley goes down swinging for the second out of the inning. Up for the Tigers Jason Fultz 

Fultz hits a choppy ground ball to the third baseman for a 5-3 put-out. Tigers go down 123. Headed to the top of 7 Will Rhine will be up for the Tide 

BTW it has taken us 2 1/2 hours to play 6 innings of baseball and we still have 6 more to go!

Rhine goes down swinging for out number one. Up to the plate for the Tide Logen Davenport.

Davenport sends a ball about 10 feet from the fence in the right-center gap for a stand-up double. Up to the plate for the Tide Brennan Holt. 

Holt sends a fly ball out to Centerfield, can of corn for the second out of the inning. Tide still have a runner on second base and Justin Lebron steps to the plate. 

Lebron walks to first base putting runners on first and second. Up to the plate for the Tide Sam Christansen. 

Christiansen with a ground ball to the second pulling him close enough to first that only a flip was necessary to get the out. Tide leave 2 on base on 1 hit and no runners come across. We go to the Middle of the 7th with Triston McCladdie coming to the plate.

Crighton grounds a ball to third for a 5-3 put-out. Tigers bring Tryston McCladdie to the plate. 

McCladdie flies one out to the right-center gap brought in by the center fielder for out number 2 in the inning. Tigers bring Jacob Jarrell to the plate. 

Jarrell walks on 5 pitches, and now we see Tyler Lichtenberger at the plate.

Lichtenberger slices one into left field for a single putting Tigers on first and second with 2 outs. Up at the plate Bryce Clavon 

the catcher lets a ball get past him and both Tigers move up 90 feet.  

Clavon cant take advantage of the runners in scoring position, a ground ball to first base and a flip to the pitcher covering ends the inning. Tigers leave 2 runners on and cant bring any across. we go to the top of the 8th inning Luke Vaughn Coming up. 

Vaughn goes down swinging on 93 right down the pipe for the first out of the inning. Tide bring Will Plattner to the Plate. 

Plattner flies one out to right field for out number 2. Tide bring Bryce Flower up to bat.

Fowler takes 92 right off the thigh and will slowly jog down to first for his free base. the Tide bring up Andrew Purdy to bat. 

Purdy draws a walk and after 2 quick outs the Tigers have to contend with runners on first and second with Evan Taylor coming to the plate. 

Taylor grounds into a 4-6 put-out but the footrace to the bag was closer than we would like, if the runners slides he may have beat the play. Nonetheless the Tigers hold two runners on base and don't allow anything across. we are going into the bottom of the 8th inning Dylan Harrison will be at the Plate. 

Harrison grounds to first base for a 3 unassisted put out. Tigers bring Jay Dillard to the plate. 

Dillard goes down on strikes and that will bring Purify to the plare

Purify draws a walk and that will bring Gaffney to the plate

Gaffney goes down on strikes and that will end the inning for the Tigers.

Leading off the top of the 9th for Alabama, Wilkie

Wilkie with the swinging bunt and Wilkie managed to run it out and is safe at first. That will bring Devenport

Devenport with the single and Bama has runners on first and second and that will bring Williamson to the plate

Williamson pops up a bunt that lands in no mans land and Alabama has the bases loaded with no outs here in the top of the 9th. That will bring Lebron to the plate. 

Lebron hits it back to the pitcher who throws it home for the first out in the inning. The bases remain loaded and that will bring Christensen to the plate

Christensen hits it back to the pitcher and the throw was a little errant to home but the catcher managed to get the out on a close play at home. The Tigers have dodged bullets all day in these situations and it has been good to see. At the plate, Vaughn

Vaughn with the fly ball to Centerfield and the Tigers escaped the top of the 9th after loading the bases with no outs.

Leading off the bottom of the 9th for the Tigers Savoie

Savoie with the line shot off the 3rd basemans glove into left field for a double and that will bring Dalley to the plate

Dalley goes down on strikes and that will bring Fultz to the plate

Fultz draws a walk and the Tigers have runners on first and second with no outs and that will bring Crighton to the plate

Crighton with the RBI single into left field and that will bring McCladdie to the plate

McCladdie with the soft liner into Centerfield and that will bring Jarrell to the plate with the bases loaded and one out.

Jarrell is hit by a pitch and that will bring in a run as Lichtenberger comes to the plate

Lichtenberger hits into a fielders choice and scores another run as Clavon come to the plate

Clavon flys out to  left field but the Tigers add 3 more to the scoreboard

Leading off the top of the 10th for Alabama, Lemm

Lemm with the base hit into Centerfield and that will bring Kroberger to the plate

Kroberger draws a walk and that brings Purdy to the plate

Purdy draws a walk and the bases are loaded with no outs and that will bring Taylor to the plate

Taylor hits into the 6-4-3 double play and that brings a run across the plate and Rhine is at the plate

Rhine pops it up to third and that will end the inning for Bama

Leading off the bottom of the 10th inning for the Tigers, Moore

Moore runs out a infield single and that brings Burd to the plate

Burd goes down on strikes and that will bring Dillard to the plate

Dillard with the drive to the wall but it stayed in the park and that will Fultz to the plate

Fultz with a drive to the wall in left field and that will bring Anchors to the plate with runners on second and third with two outs.

Anchors goes down on strikes to end the bottom of the 10th

Leading off the top of the 11th for Bama, Hines 

Hines just sent a ball into orbit and over the left field grandstands. This Freshman will be one to watch this year if you are an Alabama Fan. Up at the plate for the Tide Williamson.

Williamson grounds into a 3-1 put-out for out number 1. Tide bring Barnett to the plate. 

Barnett Strikes out on a slider that dropped probably 3 feet for out number 2. at the plate for the Tide Young. 

Tide takes a pitch off of the back of the arm and makes his way down to first. Tide bring up Lemm.

Lemm hits a hard ground ball through the 3-4 gap into right field for a single moving runners up to second. Up to the plate for the Tide Kroberger.

Kroberger goes down on strikes but Alabama gets a run in the top of the 10th.

Leading off the bottom of the 10th for the Tigers, Castellani

Castellani is hit by a pitch and that will bring Marshall to the plate

Marshall draws a walk and that brings Taylor to the plate

Taylor with the fly ball to right field and that will advance the runner to third. That will bring Sullivan to the plate with runners on first and third

Sullivan flies out to Centerfield but picks up a RBI and that will bring Miller to the plate

Miller with the single into left field and that will bring Moore to the plate

Moore is hit by a pitch and that will load the bases for Burd

Burd hits into the fielders choice for the 3rd out in the inning and we have played 10 complete.
