Ugh terrible news! The talented freshman left the game early last night after a fast break. Ace Buckner had the best game of his young career, though, so let's hope he stays healthy and continues to get better! They will be able to get a medical redshirt for Foster, but who knows if he will be at Clemson that long anyway in this era. I tore my ACL playing basketball in college, and I can tell you that it's not fun! Hope he has a quick and successful surgery and rehab. |

CLEMSON, S.C. – Following an MRI on Wednesday, it was confirmed that freshman guard Zac Foster suffered a torn ACL during Tuesday’s win over South Carolina. There is no timetable yet for Foster’s return. “It’s an extremely unfortunate injury for Zac and our team,” said Head Coach Brad Brownell. “Zac is a hard worker and valuable member of our backcourt. I know he will be determined in his rehab and has very bright future ahead of him here in Clemson.” |
