Ugh terrible news 2 weeks before the opener at LSU. It begs the question whether he was ever really injured at all, He had been out of practice for the last week or so. Burley was the one guy on the DLine that they could not afford to lose. It's better than a season-ending injury, but they were already thin at DT even with Burley. They need Oklahoma transfer Markus Strong to step up now. Statement from Dabo: "Earlier today, I was made aware of defensive tackle Vic Burley’s arrest by the Clemson University Police Department for disorderly conduct early Saturday morning. I have made the decision to suspend Vic from our football team indefinitely. We are extremely disappointed by his actions and decisions.” |
