Meredith got hit by a pitch to lead off and stole 2nd, but Davidson struck out, Beer flied out and Williams struck out to strand him. 3rd time Meredith has been hit by a pitch in his 4 starts! He also has a couple walks. His on base percentage is through the roof. Love having him in the leadoff spot! SCORELESS AFTER ONE.

Ugh Dogs answered right back in the 3rd. Strider gave up a leadoff single, a walk, another single and walked in a run. He then gave up a sac fly to make it 3-2, and Monte brought Marr in from the pen. Marr proceeded to give up a 3-run bomb to his first batter. Monte might have been a little quick on the hook. Strider was looking good before this inning and had runners at the corners with one out. Not gonna have a pitchers' duel tonight! TIGERS TRAIL 5-3 M3. |

The press box here sucks, but it's a nice brand new ball park. Better crowd than I was expecting too, although there are way more UGA fans here than there would be at DKS, which is why I question Clemson opting to play its home game here. They must have gotten a pretty penny from the franchise and/or the city. I'd say it's about 75% Clemson fans here. |

Marr goes 1-2-3 with a K in the 5th! Too bad had that one bad pitch to his first batter, or the Tigers would be up 3-2 right now. That's been a disturbing trend with the relievers coming in cold out of the pen.
