Trouble for the freshman in the 3rd after 2 perfect innings. He gave up a one-out single, a walk, a balk and then another walk to load the bases.

Sac fly to right on an 0-2 pitch puts KSU on the board. Corners with 2 outs.

Single to right scores another run, but Beer catches the runner in a run down to end the inning.

Williams shallow fly is lost in the lights, but he got greedy and was thrown out going for 2nd. Scored a single.

Ugh Wilkie errant throw to 1st after a "swinging bunt." Run scores on the play, and the runner goes to 2nd.

Strider gets a K swinging to end the inning, but the Tigers give up 2 runs without a hit.

DAVIDSON DELIVERS!!! Line drive single to right scores Meredith, he gets to 3rd on a boot by the right fielder. 4 RBI's tonight for Davidson! Beer up with 2 outs, new pitcher.

Beer hits right into the shift in shallow right field to end the inning. Thought Davidson might try to steal home with no one near 3rd base because of the shift.

TIGERS LEAD 9-4 AFTER 7.

Wharton moves to left, Teo in at center, Meredith out.

Miller goes 1-2-3!

Jolly pinches for Byrd and walks on 4 balls. New pitcher, 8th of the night for KSU. Wilkie up with one out.

Jolly caught stealing 2nd, and it wasn't even close. Don't know what they were thinking if that was a called steal.

Wilkie flies out to end the inning.

TIGERS LEAD 9-4 HEADED TO THE 9TH.

Miller hit the leadoff batter but got the next 3!

They improve to 30-11 and have won 4 straight. Holt Jones will get the start tomorrow night against PC. I'll have post-game interviews posted shortly!
