Fake Heisman Lamar Jackson barely makes 1st round

The Ravens saw him still sitting there and traded up to get him with the last pick of the 1st round. Just further evidence Watson was the real Heisman for 2016!

In fact, I have argued Watson should have won back-to-back Heismans because he outplayed Derrick Henry in the National Championship and became the first player ever with 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing that season. He hung 40 points on that Bama defense, and the only think keeping him from being on the first team ever to win 15 games was an onside kick! McCaffrey was actually the runner-up that year, but I believe if the voting had taken place AFTER the bowls and Playoff like it should have been, Watson would have won it.

Incidentally, Derrick Henry was also one of the lowest draft picks ever for a Heisman winner at #45. Even Tebow went higher at #25. Jason White from Oklahoma was not even drafted at all, but it's funny that 2 of the lowest picks ever were Henry and Jackson. Just more evidence that Watson and Clemson were robbed of back-to-back Heismans!

I'm told by Tim Bourret that 27 Heisman winners were not selected in the first round over the 83-year history of the Draft. I'm surprised it's that many, but I think it's been a lot less common in recent years.

Couldn't agree more! We should be the second school ever with back to back heismans. Instead we got screwed twice and still don't have one!

And Spiller was also robbed by a bama running back! Clemson should have at least 2 heisman trophies and probably 3.

By the way, I can't believe mayfield went #1 and DW4 only went #12.
