Greenville continues to be comsistently among the top TV markets for college football despite its size. For the 2017 season, it trailed only Birmingham, Alabama (Bama and Auburn) and Columbus, Ohio (Ohio State). Oklahoma City was 4th and Knoxville, TN was 5th. Also, Death Valley was #14 in average home attendance for 2017. The top 3, of course, were Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. Texas A&M was 5th behind Alabama, and the Tigers will play in front of that mammoth Kyle Field crowd in week 2 next season! |
