We just wrapped up long interview with Dabo, and I asked him about Troy Stellato and Jake Briningstool, who were in yellow. I mentioned on Monday that I saw Stellato in yellow, but Jake is a new one. Dabo said Stellato pulled a hammy, which is terrible news. That means he'll miss the spring game after missing the entire season with a groin injury. Was really looking forward to seeing him in action! Jake, fortunately, just has a hip pointer and should be back soon. With Jake, Davis Allen and Sage Ennis all out right now, Luke Price is running with the one's at TE! Dabo also told me that Putnam is doing very well at center. Dabo said he had just one bad snap, so that's pretty impressive given that he's never done it before. Trent Howard is also coming along at center, and they will consider taking someone from the transfer portal if it's the right fit. At the end of the interview, Dabo told us that he is throwing out the first pitch at the softball game on Sunday. He also said that Hunter Renfrow has been staying at his house with his wife and baby for the last few days, and Hunter talked to the team today. I think his quarterback with the Raiders, Derek Carr, is also going to be visiting Clemson in the coming week, perhaps for the Tigers' Pro Day next Thursday.
We also got Phil Mafah, who has been getting all of the reps with the one's in practice because Shipley and Pace are both out. The full interviews are below!
