CLEMSON, SC - The Tigers avenged their heartbreaking 3-2 loss in Athens last year, leaving no doubt in a 7-1 drubbing over No.13 UGA at McWhorter Stadium on Tuesday night. McKenzie Clark led off the 1st with a HR for the 3rd time in 5 games, and the Tigers added 4 more runs in the 1st, which was more than Valerie Cagle would need in the circle. She was an umpire replay reversal away from a complete game shutout, improving to 6-0 on the season. Clark's homer was her 5th of the season, just one behind Cagle, who leads the nation in long balls. JoJo Hyatt broke out of her mini-slump, going 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI's. Her .583 average is 9th nationally and 2nd in the Power Five.
The Tigers improved to 11-0 on the season and travel to USF next for a weekend tournament. Post-game interviews are below!
