CLEMSON, SC - What an ugly way for a great season to end! First being robbed by the NCAA and now this. Talk about adding insult to injury. You could tell the Tigers were feeling the pressure once the game got close at the end of the second half. It looked like it was gonna be a rout when they were up 15, and then all the sudden, it's a 2-point game at the half. Tigers missed their first 9 shots from 3 and finished 1-11 in the second half. They choked on several free throws as well, and that was their biggest strength all season. They were the 6th best free throw shooting team in the nation and just 8-14 tonight, including missing a couple front ends of one-and-ones. Tigers were 15-1 at home before tonight, and the one loss by 4 points to Miami deprived them of a share of the ACC title and an NCAA bid. What a frustrating season! Sorry to see it end this way for Hunter Tyson. Hopefully this will not be Hall's last game as a Tiger! Morehead's coach said this was probably the second-biggest win in their program's history along with beating Louisville.
