CLEMSON, SC - What a game! The Tigers trailed 6-1 until they scored 2 runs in the 6th to make it 6-3. They scored 3 runs in the 8th to tie the game, and McCladdie scored the winning run on a wild pitch! He walked to lead off the 9th, stole 2nd and reached 3rd on a grounder by Paino. Listi was 3-4 with a walk, a double and 3 RBI's!
The Tigers took the first game against Wake 5-1 thanks to another great pitching performance by Knaak. Wake held on to win on Saturday 12-10 to force the rubber match. The Tigers almost overcame a 10-0 deficit in that game but came up short.
They have won each of their first two ACC series, now 4-2 in conference play. Post-game interviews are below!
