CLEMSON, SC - The Tigers got off to a great start to the 2026 season, sweeping Army over the weekend. The pitching and defense were outstanding in all 3 games. On Friday, Aidan Knaak pitched just 3 innings but struck out 6 and did not allow an earned run. Freshman Dylan Harrison was phenomenal in 4.1 innings of relief, and Joe Allen earned his first win out of the pen. Nate Savoie was the hero, doubling in the game-winning run in the 8th inning.
Due to rain on Sunday, they played a doubleheader on Saturday and outscored Army 17-0 to sweep the series. Tennessee transfer Michael Sharman made his first start for the Tigers and gave up just one hit in 6 innings, as the Tigers run-ruled the Black Knights 10-0 in 8 innings.
