Clemson football has officially begun! Our annual media day began bright and early on Tuesday morning, and the big news of the day was about Chris Denson. I thought that we might find out if he had decided to make the move from quarterback to receiver, and, sure enough, Chad Morris told us that he will do just that. They might even use him in the backfield a little! True freshman Tait Reynolds jumped over Denson to the No.2 spot in the spring, and Dabo told us after the spring game that Denson would have a decision to make. I did a radio show on Sunday night and said that I was planning on asking Dabo if there was any news on that front.
Denson is a gifted athlete and explosive in space, so he will add another weapon to the Tigers' already loaded arsenal. Don't be surprised to see Chad Morris use him for a double-pass at some point.
