Dabo said Mark Fields looked good at practice last night, so hopefully he'll be able to play on Saturday. Pollard will also be back. As I reported on Sunday night, he was able to play against Louisville, but since they got off to such a fast start, they just held him out.
OL Matt Bockhorst has an ankle injury, so he might still be out, but he would only play if the Tigers build a big lead like they have in the last four games.
Dabo said BC is built a lot like the Tigers in the sense that they know their identity. Of course, he talked about how physical they are, how they use so many tight ends and how tough RB A.J. Dillon is.
Incidentally, Dillon got a little banged up late in the game at VT the other day. He did not return to the game in the 4th quarter even though it was a tight game. He missed a couple games last month before returning against Miami a couple weeks ago with a big game. I'm sure he will play on Saturday night, but he may not be 100%.
We also spoke with Renfrow, Muse and Wilkins. This will be Christian's second homecoming trip to play his childhood favorite team. He had a big game up there 2 years ago, with a sack and a tackle-for-loss. He is working hard to procure as many tickets from his teammates as possible for all of his family and friends. He told me he hopes that it's as cold as possible and snows on Saturday night! He said he will be bare-armed and loving every minute of it. Personally, I hope it doesn't snow, but it will be plenty cold, with a forecast low of 34 degrees.
I'll have more later. In the meantime, the full videos are below. Don't forget to stop by The Valley forum for live play-by-play and coverage of tonight's season opener at Littlejohn against The Citadel!
