The Tigers will host Radford at 3:00 on Saturday. They are 6-3. coming off a tough loss to Mississippi State in Newark without leading scorer Marcquise Reed, who has a sprained left knee. Reed was averaging 19.1 points per game this season. The Bulldogs hit a school-record 19 three-pointers in the game. The Tigers' 3-point defense has been a chronic problem this season. Some of it is bad luck--when a team is draining NBA 3's like Mississippi State was last week, there's not a lot you can do. However, that wasn't a one-game anomaly. Teams have been exceeding their season shooting percentage from beyond the arc against the Tigers since their exhibition games. Mississippi State was just 32% from three-point land this season before that record-setting game. Reed will be out again on Saturday, and the freshman John Newman will get the start over Trapp.
