CLEMSON, SC - What a game! The Tigers scored 12 of their 17 runs last night with 2 outs and 4 of 5 today, as they scored 2 runs in the 9th for the second time in as many days to beat No.3 UNC in walk-off fashion for the sweep. Preseason All-American Logan Davidson homered last Sunday as well in Columbia, and with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, he homered to win Sunday's game 5-4. Teo and Davidson each hit their team-leading 5th HR today. Hall set up the walk-off HR with a 2-out double. He reached base 3 times today with 2 outs and scored twice.
The Tigers will be climbing the rankings tomorrow! They improve to 12-3 on the season. The Tigers scored 2 runs in the 9th in game one to win 3-2 and scored 2 in with 2 outs in the 9th to complete the sweep! Monte Lee hadn't beaten the Heels before the weekend, and the Tigers hadn't beaten UNC since 2014, getting swept in 3 close games by a top-10 Carolina team in Chapel Hill two years ago. They returned the favor this weekend. What a weekend to be a Tiger!
