The Defending Champs were back at it, working inside on a rainy Friday. We were allowed to watch the first couple periods, and the team was in great spirits. As is customary under Dabo, the offense and defense switched colors to signify that it's a new season as they prep for their record 5th consecutive playoff.
We spoke to Dabo after practice, and I asked him if he'd made a decision about promoting Brandon Streeter to Co-Offensive Coordinator. He said that Tony Elliott will be the sole Offensive Coordinator when Jeff Scott leaves and that Streeter will remain focused on the quarterbacks.
I also asked him how difficult it will be for Braden Galloway to play in a game for the first time in over a year, especially at the tight end position, even though he's been practicing all season. Dabo said that it will be different with live bullets, but he feels good about the work that Galloway has had in practice all season.
The full interview is below, and I'll have practice photos in a bit!
