As many have speculated for months, it looks like Chase Brice will transfer after all. A source has said that he has entered the transfer portal. Brice will graduate from Clemson in May, so he'll be able to play elsewhere next fall with 2 years of eligibility left. Perhaps he follows Jeff Scott to USF. For those worried that he might go to LSU, that is highly unlikely. LSU has a 5-star QB waiting in the wings. Brice will go somewhere he knows he will start. Otherwise, he would have remained at Clemson. Besides, I don't think he would want to play for the team that just broke his and all of his teammates' hearts.
The Tigers will still have a couple uber-talented backup QB's next season in true freshman DJ Uiagalelei and redshirt freshman Taisun Phommachanh.
