CLEMSON, SC - The Tigers were shutout 2-0 by Western Carolina in their first-ever home game on Wednesday, but since then the offensive flood gates have burst open. They beat WCU 8-0 on Wednesday night, beat Maryland 5-1 on Friday and then scored 21 runs in the first 3 innings against the Terps on Saturday! Maryland would score a safety in the 5th inning to make it 21-2 before the mercy rule was invoked to end the game.
The Tigers did the most damage in the 2nd inning, scoring 14 runs. Alia Logoleo batted 3 times in the inning. Two-way star Valerie Cagle continued her hot hitting, going 4-5 with 2 HR's and 8 RBI's.
