CLEMSON, SC - Davis Sharpe and the Tigers' offense exploded on Tuesday, beating PC 12-0. The Tigers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the 1st, thanks mostly to a 3-run HR by Davis Sharpe. He would go on to hit another 2-run HR later in the game. Sharpe leads the team with 4 HR's this season. He homered in consecutive games against the Gamecocks. Freshman Dylan Brewer added 3 RBI's, clearing the bases with a 2-out double in the 7th.Chad Fairey continued his hot hitting, going 2-3. He was 3-5 against BC on Saturday, homering for his first hit of the season after a long slump to start the season.
Jackson Lindley got the start on the mound and was very impressive, getting ahead of batters early with first-pitch strikes in his first win of the season. He gave up 3 hits and no walks with 5 K's in 5 innings. It was the Tigers' 4th shutout already this season. They are 13-3 and will host Winthrop on Wednesday at 6:00. Post-game interviews are below!
