Just that time of year! The veterans only have one year of eligibility left and probably want to get more playing time somewhere in the hopes of making it to the NFL. They would have been splitting backup reps with Ruke, Reuben, Tre Williams and Capehart next season. Similar situation we saw with DT Scott Pagano transferring to Oregon for his final year a few years ago. We'll probably see a couple more defections in the coming weeks, especially with all the players given an extra year of eligibility. That means the competition for playing time will be stiffer than ever.
