The Tigers were looing good until their bats went cold in their second game against Notre Dame last week. Since then, they have lost 6 straight, including a bad 8-2 home loss to USC Upstate and a sweep this weekend at No.18 UNC. They are 5-8 overall and 1-5 in the ACC. The good news is that Elijah Henderson, who was arguably the Tigers' best hitter last season, has finally broken out of his slump. After going hitless in his first 4 games, Henderson has a 4-game hitting streak going now and has 7 hits in his last 6 games. They are in a rut to be sure, but they are competing, and it shouldn't take much to turn their fortunes around. I still believe in this team, and I think they will snap the losing streak on Tuesday against Georgia State and sweep VA Tech at home this weekend. If they can do that, perhaps they will go on a nice win streak!
