RECRUITING VISITOR LIST: Florida State Game

On top of a who’s-who of football recruits, Brad Brownell and his team of recruiters has the nation’s #1 overall player, Spartanburg native Zion Williamson, coming in and taking his second look at the Clemson campus this fall. He was in town previously to visit when the Tigers took on Auburn earlier this season, using his time in Tiger Town that weekend to take in the football game and pick up a lot of attention from fans of both sports. His previous visit went very well, and he was as recognizable to the crowd in Death Valley as Trevor Lawrence. Zion would be a program-changer for Brad Brownell, and the in-state Tigers have a puncher's chance with the likes of blue-bloods Kentucky and Duke.

Also in town will be newly-offered Trey McGowens, a Hargrave Academy star whose father is a wide receivers coach and one of the Elite Position Training staff members. EPT is a group of coaches here in SC that has been pivotal in helping develop local SC talent from all over the state in all sports to help with college recruiting and player development. McGowens is a big-time, athletic scorer and we expect Clemson to push for his commitment sooner rather than later. We believe McGowens is about to reciprocate the interest to that same level.
