Simms misses to end the half. Ugly, ugly, ugly. The good news is the Tigers held the Hoos to just 26 points. The bad news is they only scored 14! That's right around the number they had at halftime up there a couple years ago. As usual, UVA has the No.1 scoring defense in the nation, and it's sure giving the Tigers fits so far. They are just 6-21 from the field and 2-8 from 3 with 7 turnovers. They better go on a run to start the second half because UVA is not a team you can rally against late in the game! Incidentally, UVA held Cuse to 15 points in the second half and 34 for the game. They also held UNC to 18 in a half, VT to 17, JMU to 11 and Maine to 12, so 14 first-half points is not that unusual when it comes to playing UVA. TIGERS TRAIL 26-14 AT THE HALF. |

Trapp was non-existent offensively with zero points after 2 points in 17 minutes at Wake. He scored a career-high 17 against Syracuse last week including the game-winner but has had a couple rough games since. The Tigers fall to 5-7 in the ACC and host Notre Dame on Sunday night, a game they should win. |
